GLACIER TRAVEL & CREVASSE RESCUE TRAINING

With a long history of mountain guiding and mountain rescue work throughout Alaska, WEME is sharing their passion for glacier travel with aspiring guides and adventurous glacier travelers.  Glacier travel and crevasse rescue courses are designed to teach participants about safe glacier travel techniques on snow and ice, standard rope management and crevasse rescue systems.  Many of our clientele are tour companies who seek to provide high quality training to their guides to offer the most fun and safest experience for their clients.

This course is several days in length and begins with some indoor rope rescue work and basic knots before heading out onto the glacier.  Please contact us to schedule a course for your group.
